David’s Psalm 103 “rephrased, reflecting my own life and experience” (PJ)
Praise Christ, let everything that is inside me, that is me, praise Jesus !
Again, I remind myself, Praise Jesus, and don’t forget what he has done for Me.
He forgives all of my sin.
He heals all my disease (if not now, at the resurrection)
So many times, he has lifted me from the dark tormented places of my mind.
He covers me with His unfailing love, and shows compassion.
He is making me satisfied in His goodness, and in doing good myself.
Even as I grow older, I still feel young in spirit, soaring like an eagle in my heart.
I know that he does what is right, eternally doing away with evil and suffering.
He shows each day the way to go, and how to live.
His compassion continues, slow to anger, and rich in faithful love toward all who trust Him.
One day, judgement will be over, and I am thankful that he will not judge my sin as I deserve, but that He has made me clean by ‘His Sacrifice’.
As high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love towards those who believe on him.
As far as the east is from the west has he removed my sin from me.
I am so glad that he treats me as a father to child, showing compassion in the midst of my trial
He knows me, right down to my D.N.A.
Even though my flesh and bones will pass away with time, His love is eternal, guaranteeing eternal life to those who believe on Him.
He blesses those who walk in obedience to Him
He rules over all from Heaven
Praise the Lord. Not just me, but all of creation, angels included, and military forces, you praise him too.
Praise the Lord, everything he does, in all that he rules (which is everywhere)
I remind myself, Praise Jesus.
